Oh bugger. It seems my date and his former ex-girlfriend are once again hooked up. I should have seen it - To cut the story short, I've found myself without a date once again. Any blokes dateless still? I know it's short notice, but most of my dorm mates I'd greatly appreciate someone pulling me out of this bind.

If it were not banned to use magic outside of Hogwarts, I would love to give a pig wings and 'make it fly'. I owled mum earlier this week with everything that was going about Hogwarts. Somehow she already guessed I fancied Severus... Could I have been that dreadful over the summer? Apparently she doesn't believe running off to France and getting lost in a crowd of muggle tourists is a terrible idea. I thought visiting France would be very educational and merely was teasing about the getting lost in the crowd of muggles. She didn't find the humour. Said that until 'pigs could fly', she could not let me go off to France until I become of age. Mums.

Oi, volunteering for Prefect rounds, studying for OWLs, and crazy assignments from Slughorn Slug Club have kept me from writing in my journal. Forgive me!
It feels nice to just be sitting in the common room with the fire ablaze! There is not a single arrogant git to annoy me either.
Sev, I hope you don't mind that I volunteered you for Prefect rounds with me tonight. McGonagall claimed that I could not bring another Gryffindor along - although I don't believe she wanted me to bring a bloke either. We can throw about possible potions that will be possible for OWLs.
